It is finally here… the day has finally arrived…the most exciting weekend of the season… NUNS END OF SEASON PARTY!
See you tomorrow from 4pm at Gj’s
Food will be served from 5:30
Oh and on a separate but just as important note there are some very important games tomorrow. Let’s finish strong and on a high.
(Kath has promised drinks to all winning teams and Sj showed true Nuns support and promised drinks to all losing teams… We definitely all win in this situation!!)
This Thursday, 40 nuns (and nuns friends) will be showing off their knowledge in the hope they win the bragging rights as the brainiest nuns about!
We will have the room from 7 for some pre drinks in order to warm our brains up. Dinner will be served at 7:30 with the quiz beginning at 8:30.
You will need to have paid your team captain before the quiz begins. Please bring extra cash in order to purchase cheat cards, double trouble cards and raffle tickets!
Looking forward to seeing you all
Saturday 19th March- The 1’s are back in town
Having not had a home game since what seems like forever, the 1’s are at home on the 19th March. It is also a big rugby day and therefore we have an area reserved at The Pig and Whistle. Please come down and support, friends and family most welcome!
Saturday 16th April- End of Season party
Tickets will be on sale next week for the end of season party, it is always a great day/night with awards, drinks, loads of hog and many shots! Friends and family welcome!
This weekend all teams are playing away, however this does not mean we cannot have some fun, in fact the complete opposite.
A large area has been booked in The Pig and Whistle from 1pm for lunch and to watch the 6 nations games. England’s game is at 4:50 so by then we will be nicely warmed up and ready!
Please can you let your me or your captains know if you will be joining so I can check we have enough space.
Have a great week, good luck for your games and see you in the pub
Lots of you have shown interest in the summer social, now is the time to confirm with cash money. Hopefully, the cost will be £30 per person for the days netball tournament plus entry into the festival. It may be slightly more if we have less people. Thereofre, I am asking for £30 to be transfered into the capital nuns bank account asap (preferably by the end of the week) so I can pay for our team places.
It is going to be an awesome day of netball, beer and bad behaviour!
If you are keen but have cash problems let me know and I will see what Banker Beau can do.
Once you have paid please email me firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know you are in.
I hope to see lots of you at the pub on the 6th Feb for food and men in small shorts.
