Capital NUNS operate a bursary fund to ensure our club remains inclusive and that no one is excluded due to affordability. The fund is named in memory of one of our original NUNS, the beautiful and brave Keta Hansen, who we sadly lost to MND in 2019. It has been made possible thanks to the generous donations of our Legends and Alumni.
Applications are open to any current member who may otherwise find the cost of playing for NUNS unaffordable.
Available bursaries:
- Full subs bursary – value £320
- Half subs bursary – value £160
- Kit bursary – value £150 (covers a training top, fleece, tracksuit bottoms and ~£50 towards trainers)
Applications are invited at the start of the season (September), with the half-subs bursary also available at the mid-point of the season (January).
Applications are reviewed confidentially by the bursary committee, consisting of the Club Captains, Treasurer, Kath Mansfield, Lou Johnson, and Keta’s mum Glynis.
